Dr. Seuss Day Planned March 2 at The Branch

It’s time to speak in rhyme,

And play games with silly names,

It’s something we do on every March 2,

To mark the birthday of Dr. Seuss.

From noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, children are invited to visit Rodman Branch Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss and his wonderful books by making Seussical crafts and playing wacky games.

Children will use straws to create a blow painting of Thing 1 and Thing 2. They will also have the opportunity to make Oobleck  and a Lorax windsock out of a soup can.

Children can come and celebrate Dr. Seuss and his wonderful books by making Suessical crafts and playing wacky games. 

Kids will be able to go on a scavenger hunt and also play games such as tic tac toe, ring toss, and a guessing scavenger hunt, and a guessing game. 

A light snack and drink will be provided.
