The first step in pinching pennies is to protect your assets and your credit rating. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the United States. What do you do if your identity is stolen? This VHS will help you learn what to do if you become a victim and how to avoid becoming one in the first place.

Issues covered in this program include: who commits these crimes and why; how thieves target their victims; what they want from their victims; how they gain access to personal and company information; how businesses are affected; what we can do to prevent identity theft; how and when to involve law enforcement; mail theft; internet theft; application fraud; bogus consumer surveys; and fraudulent telephone calls.

VIDEO BREAD: HOW TO BAKE BREAD AT HOME

The next step in protecting your assets is doing for yourself. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (http://www.bls.gov/ro3/apmw.htm), a one-pound loaf of white bread cost $1.32 in November of 2008. Therefore, if you use two loaves each week, that costs you $137.28 in the course of one year. If you don’t wish to make bread by hand, you can get quite a good bread machine for that kind of money…and you get to control the ingredients!

Video Bread demonstrates how to bake for yourself including how to make white, whole wheat and rye bread; shape the loaves; treat the crust; as well as how to make sweet rolls, pizza crust, and pie crust. This VHS Includes the use of bread machines for those pressed for time.

HOW TO CUT YOUR CHILD'S HAIR

Even if you only want to extend the time between visits to the hairdresser, this video takes you step by step through basic hair-cutting techniques, safety tips, and proper tools. You will learn to find the natural parting of the hair, trim long hair, trim bangs, and cut a boy’s hair.
