Computer workstation for those with visual and physical impairments added

A computer that was adapted for patrons with visual or physical disabilities is available at the Main Library. The computer has a 19-inch monitor, a large roller ball mouse, high quality headphones, and "reading" software that will read the text of the screen to the user. The computer also has software that will allow the user with some vision to enlarge or magnify the screen text so that it is easier to see. A flatbed scanner and Kurzweil software allows the computer to "read" books and magazines to the user when they are placed on the scanner.
