As a bonus prize for the Rodman Public Library Adult Summer Reading Program, patrons can enter to win two tickets to Ohio Caverns in West Liberty, Ohio. "America's Most Colorful Caverns" are open all year long with daily one hour, mile long tours.
The tour path through the caverns is a concrete path, which will allow you to enjoy the natural beauties of the cavern conveniently. A 35-acre park is located directly above the caverns and contains shelter houses, picnic tables, a playground and gem mining. A souvenir and gift shop is located within the entrance building. The Caverns are located on state Route 245 in West Liberty Ohio.
Entry tickets may be found on the "Staycation" display near the front of the Main Library. Simply write your name and phone number (or address) on an entry ticket and place it into the collection box. Entries will be collected throughout the Summer Reading Program, which ends August 29. A drawing will then take place with the winner receiving two tickets for entrance into the cavern.
The Adult Summer Reading Program's theme this year is "Novel Destinations". The program is open to any adults and offers prizes and special events. For more information, contact the library at 330-821-2665, ext. 208.
