Grades 3-6

Girls' Book Club

Girls ages 9-11 are invited to join the Girls' Book Club at Rodman Public Library. The club meets from October through April.

Boys' Book Club

Rodman Public Library invites boys ages 9-11 to a book club just for them. The monthly sessions will be held through April 2012. Meetings will include a book discussion, games and other activities. Children must be able to read on a 4/5 grade reading level.

The meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5 p.m. at the library. The next session will be held on February 8. The book selection for February, Spaceheadz, by Jon Scieszka, may be picked up at the Main Library Children's Department. Registration is limited to 10 students.

Ages 0-5

Want to hear fun stories, learn new songs, and make crafts? Tell mom or dad to bring you to lapsit if you are 2 or 3 years old. If you are 4, 5, or 6 years old you can come to storytime.

Lapsit Program for Ages 2 and 3

Designed for child and an accompanying adult. Every Monday evening from 6:30-7:00 PM or Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM and 1:00 AM at the Main Library on Broadway Street. Experience age-appropriate books, music, and fingerplays. No registration required; come as often as you like. Held in the Children's Program Room. Here's where to look for details...

Storytime for Ages 4, 5, and 6

Choose our Tuesday evening session at 6:30 PM or the Thursday morning session at 10:30 AM at either the Main Library or the Carnation City Mall Branch. Enjoy storybooks, songs, fingerplays, and occasional crafts and games. No registration required. Here's where to look for details...
