The Children's Department at Rodman Public Library will begin taking registrations for the Young Explorer's program beginning September 1. The program begins in October. There is an attendance limit of 15 children. The program is for children ages 7-9. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month and consist of stories, games and a craft or other activities. Meetings for boys ages 9-11 will include book discussion, snacks and other activities. Meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month from 4-5 p.m. Registration is limited to 10 students. You must be able to read on a 4th grade reading level. Please call the library to register.
Want to hear fun stories, learn new songs, and make crafts? Tell mom or dad to bring you to lapsit if you are 2 or 3 years old. If you are 4, 5, or 6 years old you can come to storytime.
Designed for child and an accompanying adult. Every Monday evening from 6:30-7:00 PM or Wednesday morning at 10:15 AM and 10:45 AM at the Main Library on Broadway Street. Experience age-appropriate books, music, and fingerplays. No registration required; come as often as you like. Held in the Children's Program Room.
